Covid-19: Daily cases dip below 3,000 with 2,882 reported on Sunday (Jan 2)

PETALING JAYA: Malaysia recorded 2,882 new Covid-19 cases on Sunday (Jan 2), says the Health Ministry.

Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah tweeted that this brought the cumulative number of infections in the country to 2,764,354.

He also said more detailed information on the Covid-19 situation in the country, such as the number of new cases by state, would be updated on the Health Ministry's CovidNow portal at midnight.
