GEORGE TOWN: Large gatherings and events at public spaces where it is difficult to control physical distancing during New Year’s Eve are prohibited, say police.
George Town OCPD Asst Comm Soffian Santong however said minor-scale celebrations and conducted in closed-door premises are allowed.
