Ipoh City Council takes quick action to clear drains, illegal dumpsites to prevent flash floods

Flash floods happen in Jalan Menglembu-Lahat, Ipoh at least twice a year.

IPOH: The Ipoh City Council has been clearing all major drains in the last few days to prevent any flash floods from occurring.

Mayor Datuk Rumaizi Baharin said the council has also been monitoring the two major rivers in the city - Sungai Pinji and Sungai Pari - to check on the water levels.
