Indonesian jailed for 13 years for killing countryman


SIBU: A 31-year-old Indonesian man has been sentenced to 13 years jail by the High Court here on an amended charge from murder to culpable homicide not amounting to murder on Wednesday (Nov 17).

The accused, Odang, was initially charged under Section 302 of the Penal Code for the death of his countryman, Rianto between 9.30pm on Feb 20, 2019, and 7.20am the next day at an oil palm plantation in Mukah.
