Former Sarawak PKR chief now Malaysian Palm Oil Council chairman

PETALING JAYA: Former Sarawak PKR chief Larry Sng has been appointed as the new Malaysian Palm Oil Council (MPOC) chairman.

He takes over from former Johor Mentri Besar Datuk Osman Sapian, who had been appointed to the post in May 2020.

The MPOC announced the appointment in a post on Sunday (Oct 24) night, congratulating the Julau MP and announcing that his appointment is effective from Oct 1.

Sng had left PKR at the end of February this year.
