FANS of K-pop girl group Blackpink’s Jisoo (pic) came to her defence after she was criticised on social media for using a non-Korean-made phone.
China Press reported that heated discussion erupted among netizens after the South Korean singer posted a picture of herself holding a new iPhone 13 Pro.
This is because the group was once an ambassador for Samsung Galaxy A80 but that contract expired in August last year.
Jisoo supporters chided the negative comments about the star, saying the attack was baseless.
“It is common to change phones and since the ambassadorship contract had expired, there is nothing wrong about it,” one of the comments said.
> An Indonesian maid in Singapore, who apparently filmed and uploaded several TikTok videos of her bathing an elderly man, had been charged in court, Sin Chew Daily reported.
The 33-year-old maid was believed to have taken the videos and shared them on TikTok without the man’s knowledge.
In the video, the fully-dressed maid was seen looking at the camera several times while bathing the man.
His son, who made the discovery after seeing a TV news report about the video that went viral, lodged a police report.
She has been charged with 13 counts of filming and distributing indecent videos from January last year until January this year.
However, the maid told the court that she only remembered distributing the videos once and not four times.
