Sarawak urged to go easy with travel red tape


KUCHING: The reopening of interstate travel will give a much-needed boost to domestic tourism in Sarawak, says the Sarawak Tourism Federation (STF).

Its president Audry Wan Ullok said this was welcome news for inbound travel agents and tourist attractions, adding that less red tape would further boost domestic tourism.“We hope that expatriates based in Peninsular Malaysia will take the opportunity to come to Sarawak,” she said yesterday.
