Another suspect remanded over RM12,000 bribery case


KOTA BARU: Another suspect has been remanded for five days until Monday (April 13) for allegedly soliciting and accepting about RM12,000 in bribes in exchange for not taking legal action against an individual found carrying ketum leaves in his car.

Magistrate Rais Imran Hamid issued the remand order against the man in his 30s following an application by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) at the Kota Baru Magistrate's Court here on Thursday.
