Snatch theft suspect fails to flee scene of the crime, nabbed by onlookers

GOMBAK: A 29-year-old man was detained shortly after he snatched a woman's handbag at Taman Sri Gombak here on Thursday (Sept 30).

Gombak OCPD Asst Comm Zainal Mohamed Mohamed said the 33-year-old victim was in front of a shop in the housing area when a man on a motorcycle sped up and snatched her handbag at about 8.10am.
