Lorry driver burnt to death after vehicle hits road divider, tree in JB

JOHOR BARU: A 23-year-old lorry driver was burnt to death after his vehicle crashed into a road divider and burst into flames at Jalan Kolam Ayer here.

Johor Baru South OCPD ACP Raub Selamat said that the victim was driving a delivery lorry that was heading towards the city centre at about 12.10pm on Tuesday (Sept 28).

“Our investigations revealed that the driver had lost control of his vehicle before crashing into the road divider and a tree on the right side of the road, causing the lorry to swerve before catching fire.
