Peter Anthony trial: Prosecution closes case; oral submissions on Oct 29


KUALA LUMPUR (Bernama): The prosecution in the trial of former Sabah Infrastructure Development Minister, Datuk Peter Anthony, who faces charges of using false documents relating to a system maintenance contract, closed its case on Tuesday (Sept 21) after calling 15 witnesses.

Deputy public prosecutor, Wan Shaharuddin Wan Ladin, told the Sessions Court Judge, Azura Alwi, that the prosecution rests its case after its last witness, former Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) deputy vice-chancellor (Academic and International), Professor Dr Shariff Abd Kadir Shariff Omang, who was recalled for cross-examination by the defence, completed giving his testimony.
