PETALING JAYA: The water supply to all 463 areas in the Petaling, Hulu Langat, Sepang, Putrajaya and Kuala Langat affected by the unscheduled disruption was fully restored on Sunday (Sept 5) at 12pm, says Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd.
Air Selangor corporate communications head Elina Baseri said that the water disruption happened due to the shutdown of the Sungai Semenyih Water Treatment Plant (WTP) following an odour pollution incident.
“Air Selangor would like to thank the consumers for their patience and cooperation during this unscheduled water supply disruption period,” she said in a statement on Sunday.
She added that consumers are advised to obtain official information on water supply disruptions through the management’s official application, social media and website.
Elina said that any inquiries or complaints can be directed to the Air Selangor contact centre at 15300 or through Help Centre via the Air Selangor application.
