‘All being done to prevent transmission of new variants’

PETALING JAYA: The Health Ministry is stepping up its surveillance of new Covid-19 variants, especially as Malaysia is still reeling from the effects of the Delta variant.

Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said the authorities would take the necessary measures to prevent the entry and transmission of new variants, such as the C.1.2 strain.
