Covid-19: Usage of ICU beds nationwide at 90%, three states operating at overcapacity


PUTRAJAYA: The usage of intensive care unit (ICU) beds in the country is at 90%, with the states of Sabah (126% out of 145 beds), Kedah (121% out of 104) and Perak (107% out of 90) operating at overcapacity.

These were the Health Ministry’s latest statistics up to 5pm on Sept 1, as reported on Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah’s Twitter account.
