He said targeted testing was conducted on July 10 after some of the symptomatic workers tested positive.
He added that authorities were investigating the source of infection.
On Tuesday (July 13), mass testing of workers at the vaccination centre found 204 out of 453 workers positive for Covid-19.
A total of 88% of the workers had been vaccinated.
The centre was closed for a day for sanitisation works, with all appointments rescheduled.
Those who received their jabs at the PPV between July 9 (from 4pm onwards) and July 12 were also advised to monitor themselves for the next 10 days to see if they developed symptoms.
