Covid-19: Vaccination speeds up with another record daily high of 340,043 doses administered


PETALING JAYA: The Covid-19 vaccination ramp-up continued with 340,043 doses administered on Tuesday (July 6), smashing the record of the highest daily number of people inoculated again in the country.

The record beat Monday (July 5)'s number of 313,761 doses administered.

In a tweet on Wednesday (July 7), Health Minister Dr Adham Baba said that 206,757 people received their first dose while 133,286 received their second dose.

This brings the total number of doses administered to 9,660,519 since the immunisation programme began.
