Over 65% of country's elderly have received at least one dose, says JKJAV

PETALING JAYA: About 79.2% of senior citizens who have registered for the vaccine have received at least one dose.

In a tweet on Tuesday (July 6), the Special Committee on Covid-19 Vaccine Supply (JKJAV) said 2,301,657 individuals have been vaccinated with at least one dose as of July 4.

If the entire elderly population in Malaysia is taken into account, this means about 66% of the total number of senior citizens in the country have received one dose.

In the meantime, a total of 127,775 people with disabilities have received at least one dose.

For those with comorbidities, about 3,853,554 of them have received at least one dose.
