Stop-work order in EMCO areas

KUALA LUMPUR: All construction and related work on projects in areas subject to the enhanced movement control order in Selangor and Kuala Lumpur must stop, says Works Minister Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof.

As such, he said permits issued by the International Trade and Industry Ministry prior to the enforcement of the enhanced MCO could not be used to continue construction work during the enhanced MCO period, which is scheduled to end on July 16.
