Weekly Cabinet meeting cancelled after PM hospitalised

PUTRAJAYA: The weekly Cabinet meeting on Wednesday (June 30) has been cancelled due to Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin’s hospitalisation.

This was confirmed by an aide to the prime minister.

The Prime Minister's Office said in a statement Muhyiddin was admitted after suffering from diarrhoea since Tuesday.

"He was admitted to a hospital in Kuala Lumpur on Wednesday for treatment and observation," the statement read.
