Warrant not needed to conduct SOP compliance inspections, says Hamzah


KUALA LUMPUR (Bernama): Enforcement agencies can conduct inspections on the level of compliance under the movement control order standard operating procedures (SOP) without a warrant, says Home Minister Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainudin.

He said this matter has been stipulated under the Emergency (Essential Powers) Ordinance 2021 which was gazetted on Jan 14.
