Trio nabbed over assault after accident at Taman Intan Baiduri


KUALA LUMPUR: Three men were detained for fighting following an accident at Taman Intan Baiduri here.

Sentul OCPD Asst Comm Beh Eng Lai said the fight was due to an accident involving three vehicles at 9.57am on Friday (June 18).

"One of the suspects, who was also one of the accident victims, went amok and scolded the drivers of the two other vehicles.

"The complainant who lodged a report on the incident tried to calm things down but he was instead attacked by four other men, who arrived at the scene.

"The complainant suffered head and facial injuries," he said when contacted on Saturday (June 19).

Following the incident, ACP Beh said the suspect who started the fight was nabbed along with two other men.

"Two of the suspects had prior criminal records. They will be remanded for further investigation," he added.
