Istana Negara: Malay Rulers to hold special meeting on June 16


PETALING JAYA: The Malay Rulers will hold a special meeting at Istana Negara on June 16 to discuss the implementation of various efforts to fight Covid-19 during the Emergency.

In a statement on Wednesday (June 9), Comptroller of the Royal Household of Istana Negara Datuk Ahmad Fadil Shamsuddin said the meeting would discuss efforts carried out to combat the pandemic during the emergency period.

He said this was being done on Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah's initiative and would be the second time such a meeting would be held.

The last time such a meeting was held was on Oct 25, 2020 at Istana Negara.
