PUTRAJAYA: The Federal Court has denied a 10-year-old boy citizenship here because he was born months before his Malaysian biological father married his Filipino mother.
In a majority decision, four of the apex court’s seven judges were inclined to dismiss the boy’s appeal yesterday as he was an illegitimate child.
