PETALING JAYA: Policemen working the early morning shift here were startled by the discovery of an abandoned newborn.
"At around 5.10am, my men were alerted by members of the public who discovered the baby boy, who was wrapped in a black plastic bag and placed behind a house in Kampung Sungai Kayu Ara," Petaling Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Mohamad Fakhrudin Abdul Hamid (pic) said in a statement on Thursday (May 20).
