Covid-19: Perak has highest infectivity rate


PETALING JAYA: Perak has the highest Covid-19 infectivity rate (R0, pronounced R-nought) in the country, which is currently at 1.32, while the country's average is 1.14.

Terengganu has an R0 of 1.29, Kedah 1.22, Penang 1.21, Melaka 1.18, while Selangor and Johor's R0 is 1.17.Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah shared the figures in a tweet early Friday (May 14).
