MyKad applications for 12-year-olds can now be made online


PETALING JAYA: MyKad applications for children who reach age 12 may now be submitted online.

In a tweet, the National Registration Department (NRD) said applications for the ICs can be made by scanning the QR code provided on NRD’s social media.

Applications can also be submitted by visiting the site https://web12tahun.jpn.gov.my/indexi.php, but users are advised to disable pop-up blockers before accessing it.

Applicants must also first register as users of the MyGovernment portal at https://www.malaysia.gov.my/portal/register.
