PETALING JAYA: Three company directors of an aerospace company have been charged at a Magistrate's Court here for allegedly forging a share transfer form.

Ahmad Suhaimi Abdul Halim, 44; Raja Shazreen Petra Raja Azman Shah, 32; and Mohamad Haziq Aiman Shamsuddin, 28; pleaded not guilty after the charge was read out before Magistrate Amira Sariaty Zainal here on Tuesday (Oct 27).

They were jointly charged with forging the share transfer form dated Feb 16 at the premises of PetraX5 Sdn Bhd, located at a residence in Jalan PJU 1A/42B, Ara Damansara on May 12.

They were charged under Section 471 of the Penal Code, which carries a maximum two years imprisonment or fine, or both, if convicted.

Deputy public prosecutor Syed Ahmed Khabir Abdul Rahman proposed bail at RM10,000 in one surety for each of the accused.

He said his client has no fixed income and has to support his wife and two children.

Meanwhile, lawyer Muhammad Amin Othman, who represented Raja Shazreen and Mohamad Haziq, said his clients were not a flight risk.

He said Raja Shazreen and Mohamad Haziq had families to support and they cooperated during investigation.

"My clients want to use the court as a platform to clear their names," Muhammad Amin said.

The case is set for mention on Jan 12.
