2,690 new infections cause spike in active cases

PETALING JAYA: The number of active Covid-19 cases in Malaysia climbed to 23,753 as the Health Ministry recorded more new infections.

Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said 2,690 new cases were recorded yesterday, bringing the cumulative total to 392,942.
