Pakistani man's genitals severed in altercation, cops on the hunt for suspects


SHAH ALAM: A Pakistani man had his genitals severed after being attacked by a group of men near Tasik Alam Impian here.

Deputy Shah Alam OCPD Supt Ramsay Anak Embol said the incident occurred at around 7.30pm on Sunday (April 3).

"The victim was sitting by himself at the lake at Section 35 Shah Alam when a group of about four to six men approached him and began to ask him some questions.

"One of the suspects then became enraged and pulled the victim's trousers down and slashed his privates, causing the man to faint," he said when contacted on Wednesday (April 7).

He said the victim was rushed to the Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Hospital in Klang for medical treatment.

"The victim is now in stable condition and police are now working to identify the suspects involved.

"The motive for the attack has yet to be established," he said.

He added that police have classified the case as causing grievous hurt using a weapon under Section 326 of the Penal Code.
