PUTRAJAYA: Activities during the month of Ramadan such as terawih prayers, Ramadan and Aidilfitri bazaars will be allowed, says Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.
"After discussing the matter with the Health Ministry, the Technical Committee has agreed to allow these activities to take place during Ramadan," he said on Tuesday (March 16).
The Senior Minister however added that these activities will be subject to strict standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Among the SOP is that Ramadan bazaars are to be operational from 3pm and 8pm while the operating hours for Aidilfitri bazaars are from 10am to midnight.
The first day of Ramadan is expected to fall on April 13.
