PETALING JAYA: The government remains committed to overcoming all challenges and obstacles in its way as it continues to lead the country while battling the Covid-19 pandemic, says Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong.
"We are winning this battle as everyone stays committed to doing their part to fight Covid-19.
"Soon, we will be stepping into the next phase where we will see our country recover, especially following the implementation of the National Covid-19 Immunisation programme," the MCA president said in a Facebook post Monday (March 1).
The Transport Minister posted his message as Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin delivered his address in conjunction with the first anniversary of Malaysia Prihatin, which also marks Perikatan Nasional's first year in government.
In his speech, Muhyiddin thanked Cabinet Ministers, MPs, state leaders and other leaders for supporting the government's effort to manage the pandemic and help the country's economy recover.
"I would also like to thank the frontliners who have been working hard in the past year to protect all of us from the virus," he said.
Muhyiddin also encouraged Malaysians to register for the Covid-19 vaccine through the Mysejahtera app.
