PUTRAJAYA: Malaysia recorded 2,468 more Covid-19 infections on Tuesday (Feb 23), bringing total cases to 288,229, says the Health Ministry.
Fourteen more people died due to the coronavirus, pushing Malaysia’s Covid-19 death toll to 1,076.
The country also discharged 4,055 Covid-19 patients, which means 256,678 people have recovered.
The number of people with active Covid-19 infections in Malaysia is now 30,475.
Currently, 196 patients are in intensive care, with 92 requiring ventilator support.
