Tallest Murugan statue in Asia to be built in India

A TEAM of sculptors and artisans who built the Lord Murugan statue at the Batu Caves temple will construct Asia’s tallest Murugan statue in India, Makkal Osai reported.

Fifteen sculptors from India worked for three years on the 33m statue at the Sri Murugan Perumal Kovil at the foot of Batu Caves, which was unveiled during Thaipusam in 2006.
