CPI score drops but nation aims to be free of graft by 2023


PETALING JAYA: The government has stressed that it will never compromise with those involved in corruption.

In noting the Transparency International Corruption Perception Index (CPI) 2020, the Prime Minister’s Office said that although Malaysia’s score and position dropped compared to the year before, it said that the policies and commitment in combating corruption and improving governance are clear and continuous.
