PETALING JAYA: Former PAS vice-president Datuk Dr Hasan Mohamed Ali had tested positive for Covid-19.
Hassan who is also former Gombak Setia assemblyman said he was currently receiving treatment following the confirmation of his test results.
“I am now being treated at Damansara Specialist Hospital KPJ in Damansara Utama.
“My request to all friends and those who know me or do not know me is to pray for me so that I can make a swift recovery.
“I hope that the prayers of everyone could be the cure in my recovery journey, ” he said in a Facebook post Friday (Jan 22).
A number of political leaders had earlier been found to have contracted the Covid-19 virus, including Home Minister Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainudin; Women, Family and Community Development Minister Datuk Seri Rina Harun; and Gua Musang MP Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah.
Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Datuk Seri Mustapa Mohamed had also tested positive but has since been discharged from the hospital.
