PUTRAJAYA: The enhanced movement control order in Kampung Timbang Dayang in Kota Belud, Sabah has been lifted.
Senior Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said that health authorities had carried out 516 screenings, of which 53 Covid-19 positive cases were detected.
“The Health Ministry has confirmed that the number of active cases in this locality is under control.
“The last case recorded was on Jan 11 and authorities are not waiting for any results of screenings.
“On the advice of the ministry, the NSC special meeting has agreed to end the enhanced MCO in Kampung Timbang Dayang in Kota Belud today (Jan 18) as scheduled,” he said on Monday.
