Floodwaters recede, parts of East Coast Expressway reopen

KUANTAN: Parts of KM198 of the East Coast Expressway Phase 1 have been reopened after the floodwaters receded.

Concessionaire ANIH Berhad said all eastbound lanes and the Kuala Lumpur-bound fast lane at that section had been reopened to traffic.

"Users are advised to continue following the instructions of staffers on-site," ANIH said in a statement on Sunday (Jan 3).
