KAJANG: The suspect in a hit-and-run incident on the Grand Saga Highway has been remanded for three days.
"The remand is until Jan 1, which is three days.
"Preliminary urine test also showed that the suspect tested negative for drugs," Kajang deputy OCPD Supt Mohd Sabri Abdullah said in a statement on Wednesday (Dec 30).
On Dec 29, police arrested a 25-year-old suspect following a fatal hit-and-run incident on Dec 23.
In a statement on Tuesday, Supt Mohd Sabri said that the suspect had confessed to being involved after he was caught in his home in Cheras.
The suspect also brought the police to a location in Pandan Indah where he hid the car that was used during the incident.
