Police sergeant claims trial to receiving RM3k bribe

KOTA KINABALU: A police sergeant was charged in the Sessions Court here on Wednesday (Dec 16) with receiving a RM3,000 bribe from a suspect involved in a theft case in February.

Nora Alun, 42, pleaded not guilty before Judge Abu Bakar Manat to two bribery-related charges under the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) Act 2009.
