Covid-19: Health Minister Adham Baba under quarantine


PUTRAJAYA: Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr Adham Baba (pic) says he has been placed under home quarantine until Dec 18 after having had contact with a Covid-19 patient.

He said he has been identified as a close contact of a media member who was in his office on Saturday (Dec 5).

“The media personnel was found to be Covid-19 positive and is symptomatic.

“Until the end of the Home Surveillance Order (HSO), I will be working from home and conducting meetings and discussions virtually.

“No one is exempt from any ruling issued by the authorities, especially if it involves Covid-19 preventive measures.

“May we all play our part in tackling Covid-19, ” Dr Adham posted on Facebook on Thursday (Dec 10).
