PETALING JAYA: At RM14.4bil for the Higher Education Ministry, it may be a big allocation but higher education institutions and their students still think more should have been allotted for the sector.
Under Budget 2021, Finance Minister Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Abdul Aziz also announced that the tax incentives for research and development (R&D) product commercialisation for public higher education institutions (IPTA) have been extended to private higher education institutions (IPTS).
