Cops looking for man who broke into dental clinic in Taman Tun

KUALA LUMPUR: Police are looking for a man believed to have broken into a dental clinic in Taman Tun Dr Ismail.

Brickfields OCPD Asst Comm Zairulnizam Mohd Zainuddin @ Hilmi said police received a report from the clinic's dentist, who noticed the clinic's open door at around 10am on Wednesday (Nov 4).

"She also noticed that the wire connected to the burglar alarm had been cut and, upon further inspection, found that a laptop computer and about RM200 in cash had been stolen," he said.

ACP Zairulnizam said CCTV footage caught a man in a blue shirt and grey trousers entering the premises at around 8.25pm on Tuesday (Nov 3).

Police are investigating the case for trespassing and house-breaking under Section 457 of the Penal Code.

ACP Zairulnizam urged anyone with information to contact Brickfields police at 03-2297 9222 or bring the information to the nearest police station.
