Court of Appeal judge files bid for open-door hearing in ethics committee proceedings

KUALA LUMPUR: A Court of Appeal judge has filed a legal action to challenge the decision by the Judges' Ethics Committee (JEC) to hold a closed-door hearing relating to its investigation against him.

Datuk Dr Hamid Sultan Abu Backer, 65, filed the application for leave for a judicial review through Messrs KH Lim on Oct 20.
