PETALING JAYA: Transparency International Malaysia (TI-M) has lauded the call by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) for companies to spend a part of their annual budget on anti-corruption efforts.
TI-M president Muhammad Mohan (pic) said 2020 had been a trying year with many businesses bearing the brunt of the economic slowdown due to the Covid-19 pandemic.He said temptation to cut corners and resort to any means necessary to survive and win contracts was prevalent at such times.
