Fishermen rescued after boat accident off Muar


JOHOR BARU: The Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) has rescued four fishermen who were found floating at sea for at least six hours after a merchant ship crashed into their boat in waters off Muar.

State MMEA director First Marine Admiral Nurul Hizam Zakaria said an unidentified merchant ship entered the fishing boat’s vicinity and crashed it around 11pm Saturday (Oct 10), causing water to enter the boat.
