Two Selangor PKR reps to be sworn in as exco members

KLANG: Two Selangor PKR assemblymen will be sworn in as state executive councillors on Thursday (Sept 17).

Tanjong Sepat assemblyman Borhan Aman Shah (pic) and Sungai Kandis assemblyman Mohd Zawawi Ahmad Mughni will be sworn in before Selangor Ruler Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah at Istana Alam Shah here at 9.30am.

The exco positions fell vacant after Selangor Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia chief Datuk Abdul Rashid Asari and former PKR women's wing chief Haniza Talha were removed as state executive councillors.

Abdul Rashid was ejected when Bersatu left the Pakatan Harapan coalition whilst Haniza was removed after she was sacked by PKR.

Borhan is also Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari's political secretary and it is not known yet if he has to be relieved of the position due to his appointment as executive councillor.
