Police investigating viral video showing child driving car in Rembau

REMBAU: The police are investigating a viral video that appears to show a young boy driving a car along a village road here.

Rembau district police chief DSP Anuar Bakri Abdul Salam said action will be taken

once the police obtain more leads.

"We will probe the matter based on the leads we got from the recording and we will also call in the boy's parents for allowing him to drive the car," he said.

In the 54-second "Handa orang Rombau haa" clip, the boy is seen sitting in the driver's seat of a car and can be heard telling the man recording it that he was in Standard Three and that he studied in a school in Bongek.

When asked who taught him to drive, the boy replied that his father did.
