PETALING JAYA: The country recorded 26 new Covid-19 cases, with three recoveries.
"The amount of positive cases in Malaysia is now 9,175 cases, with 219 active cases. They have been isolated and given treatment.
"Of the 26 new cases recorded, three are imported. Meanwhile, of the 23 local infections, 14 were from Kedah, while the remaining cases are from Kuala Lumpur (2), Penang (2), Johor (1) and Perlis (1)," said Health director-general Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah in a statement on Saturday (Aug 15).
No additional fatalities have been recorded, keeping the amount at 125.
