SIBU: Police here called up the Fire and Rescue Department thinking that a man was about to jump down from a building in an apparent suicide, only to find out the man was a thief.

The Fire Department in its daily update said at 8.12am on Thursday (July 23), they received a call from police for assistance to save a man who was standing on the ledge of a window on the first floor of a building on Jalan Dr Wong Soon Kai.
