Malaysia will be declared free from Covid-19 if no new cases for 28 days, says Health DG


PUTRAJAYA: The Health Ministry will only declare the country free from Covid-19 if there are no new cases for a period of 28 days.

Health director-general Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah (pic) said 28 days is the ministry’s benchmark, as it corresponds to two Covid-19 incubation cycles.
